got my headunit in. kind of a pain to get to and install but its soooooooo much better than that stock crap they put in there. Now all i need is to replace my speakers in the car and ill be set. (dont worry i wont ask what to put in i'll use the search button) :)
How much did it improve w/ just a HU w/ stock everything else?
I have a BASE RSX and my stock system sounds decent w/ enough bass, but when I turn up the volume, the bass can no longer be heard and the treble drowns it out. All I want to do is fix this. People have told me I need to change speakers...some people told me I should change the HU first. Which route should I take?
In response to your question I would add a small subwoofer. Berfore I switched out everything I added a JL audio microsub 8.1 with a small amp. The sound quality was so much better. A small sub can make a world of difference.
