Question about my turbo setup

I have a k20a3 with a greddy turbo kit. My engine ended up blowing about a year and a half ago and a k20a3 with 41000 miles out of a base rsx was swap back in to it. I do not have an intercooler i bought the turbo kit base and since it has been swapped the car has been burning sooo rich i can see the fumes coming out of the exhaust and under the piping. I want hondata k-pro but cannot afford it at the moment. is there an alternative to that that will keep my car good until about january time. and what kind of injectors can i get at stock psi? for a good price. would i need an intercooler if im at stock psi not flooring it? let me know what will be good worse comes to worse can you guys let me know what parts i would need to replace if i take off the turbo kit.

did you blow it cause you had no intercooler or cause you miss shifted?

yeah im in the military

chances are he prolly had the kit with out the fmic and forgot to have the resirtctor plate installed (limits boost to 6psi)

8 causes detonation with out the fmic and thats whay you get with out the plate


also a big thing is the color of the smoke or fumes you are seeing making it run pig rich

I honestly do not know my wife was driving it. I blew a rod. Jason sounds like he knows what caused it. I was thinking it was the emanage that went out and caused it to blow a rod. Jason I actually get back in a few weeks can't wait to go home and jump in my car. How much is a restrictor plate? Oh yea Jason you still got those OEM struts? I need your number again too since I had to recreate my account (lost the number). So you getting rid of the beast for an s2k?
