      "Ghetto" catch can (aka air or fuel filter)

      There have been several instances of the ghetto catch can mod.
      All of these require mounting inline between the PCV and IM with hose clamps.

      Part # G2 is 5/16” and G3 is 3/8”

      The unfortunate problem with this fuel filter is that it has to be mounted horizontally to be effective thus limiting its effective life of catching enough of the blowby gases.

      Purolator fuel filter

      This filter solves the horizontal mount issue and does a fair job but the input and output lines are only 5/16". I have not had a significant problem though.
