I've had maybe 5 people ride in my backseat since i've had the car and every one of them complained. I didn't remove my upper portions specifically for weight reduction, but just to tell people no when they all want to cram in my car.
that'd be the only reason i'd take out my backseats, nowadays i just fold the rear seats down when we go chill, "sorry, no backseat" is my response, but i need then for normal dd (siblings).. gas is too expensive for people to be bumming rides off of a broke college student...

anyone actually weigh all the sh!t that pulled out from the back and do math of how much faster it would run in a 1/4 mile?
I thinking of taking my back seats out, but sometimes I give rides to the family or take sibilings to places.
I agree with CivilEng. Either make some real power enough to get that Ep goin' with a stock interior, or get your a$$ out of the game. Gutting interiors is only best for track cars. I personally dont want to see wiring and ish hanging all over the place. Grow Up...
Im only half gut right now, i need to get to the gym to get rid of it
I hate ripped out interiors but only cause the interior is the part you interact most with a car right? yeah you can look at the outside all day, but its the inside that you see most, or enjoy. The EP is rattly enough, without taking out the only sound deadening there is. Keep the interior, and get a JRSC-R
i agree, you can make plenty of horsepower gains without ripping out the interior, you can make up for the weight, ya know?
i would only have a gutted interior with a/c delete, lightweight wheels, and other stuff
otherwise theres no point really
full rear gut.. no plastics, no sound deadening and get it painted a nice glossy color! Keep your carpet and both front seats and that other stuff in the front lol heck if you could get some brides or recaros in the front with red carpet then even better!
I gutted the back of my car years ago and have never regretted it. the lighter it is, the better. I did leave the sound deadening material in though. It just depends on your future plans for the car, If you think the look would bother you, and if you think the extra noise would drive you nuts.
