Knowing what you know now, would you rather have a EP3 or DC5-S?

I would have to have the 2006 RSX-S
1. I love that body style
2. It has more power than the EP3
3. it weighs almost 100 lbs less than the EP3
4. The standard features are much better

Why I bought the EP in the first place? Just needed a car better than the junker I had.

Better check that, the curb weight of an Ep3 is 2780 lbs stock, the 06 RSX-S is 2840

I agree, I would have gotten a little 92-95 civic, left it stock and saved the 20k on the ep3 plus all the mod money for a house down payment.

I bought my EP3 because I love hatchbacks. But in all honesty I much prefer the styling of the DC5 chassis. I also feel like it handles far better.

At some point I'd like to do a k20a2 swap, but I feel like I'm spending unnecessary money. It'd have made a lot more sense for me to have bought a DC5-S and gotten the motor I really wanted the first time.

All in all I'm not too upset about my decision, if I was then I'd have sold the EP3 and bought a DC5. No big deal.

Haha, I was looking at a few S2Ks when I was shopping for my EP3. But they were WAY out of my price range.

"its not how you stand by your car, its how you race it" hha i know, cheesy line. but its true. i was at an auto cross meet with my ep3 and i spotted a dc5 so the whole day i was like im going to see how my numbers match to his. his fastest time was .02 seconds faster than mine. he had more mods plus wheel set up with me rockin stock wheels with intake and catback. i surely thoguht he was going to do a lot better

Easily Ep3.......

1- Ep3 is just as fast with a K20a2 and lighter than a RSX.
2- Better interior IMO
3- EPS=Feels like your driving a video game
4- I love the look of the Ep with a CTR/Mugen kit.
5- More unique than the DC5. You see DC5s everywhere and they all look the same.
6- Ep3s have better forums than the RSX guys.
7- Modded to modded I give the Ep3 a slight edge over the RSX when it comes to handling. Again IMO.
8- Great sleeper platform.
9- I'm sure there are others.

sad to say i would get the dc5-s, simply based on performance and potential. that being said i still have the ep and love it.
