Well it was inspection time and I needed new rotors all around. I ended up getting these slotted and drilled rotors from Summit racing for only $10 more than oem. The EP is my DD so there's no need for drilled and slotted, but I figured for an extra 5 bucks each, why not? Only down side is summit doesn't carry a rear to match. Fronts with pads for the 02-03 came to $95.

yeah low end drilled and slotted rotors are not good... oh well maybe you will have luck with them
should of went with powerslot if you were gonna get aftermarket ones
what side/wheel is that?, if u have them on the wrong side they do no good.
i have the power slot waiting to go on with steel lines, how much u pay?

that's passenger side. Did i seriously put them on the wrong sides? I did the back rotors while my friend did the fronts. Damn it, it looked right that way. Looks like i'm gonna have to switch those. At least by posting this thread I found out. 95 bucks with pads. I trust summit, they came with a one year replacement warrenty against cracks. figured it was worth a shot.

oh what a ricer I am. how ever, i found this article saying that its ok since these rotors have straight internal cooling veins.
As with the plain rotors discussed above, the internal vanes should lean toward the back of the car. The direction of the slots on the outside of the rotor do not dictate whether the rotor is a left or a right. For rotors with slots machined in the same direction as the internal cooling vanes, the slots should lean toward the back of the car. For rotors with slots machined in the opposite direction as the internal cooling vanes, the slots should lean toward the front of the car. Bottom line - don't use the slots to decide which side to mount the rotor. Pay attention to the internal cooling vanes.
For slotted rotors with straight internal cooling vanes, the direction of the slots is totally up to you and what you think looks best. In this case, there is no wrong answer.

ur right but u shoud still have the slots leaning to the back of the car they work better like that, trust me.
i'll probably switch them when I have time. I got these instead of the power slots because I needed brakes right away for inspection and only had 400 bucks for tires and all four brakes. They'll get me through the year. Thanks for the advice
