im not too sure but i saw that on auction a few weeks ago :D
Ok, I got this off ebay, and aside from having a large chip/crack on the upper right corner I am questioning its authenticity.
1. In this first pic (although bad...sorry) you can see that the far left clip hole is really close to the edge of the grille.
2. You can see the close hole better here, and view the back of the grille.
3. Close up of the back.
4. I would have thought the Mugen piece would have used these clips from the OEM grille.
Let me know what other pics you might need to help me determine if it is real.
Thanks.

sorry homie but its a fake. real mugen has a jdm looking sticker on the back plus im almost positive that its not made of fiberglass. but to answer you other question the real deal dose not use those mounting clip things. its all 3m double sided tape FTW ofcourse
Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure since it was listed as authentic, and it was also said that the symbols would be "new" which they are obviously not I think I will have a strong case to return the item. /sigh
How much was it? and where was the seller located?
how much did you end up paying for it? I think I was bidding on that exact piece until it went over 280. I just received my authentic mugen grill yesterday and the only thing I can really see from your pics is that the material from the inside is slightly different from it, and that it's missing a sticker logo on the very inner part of it that says mugen, but that's just what I see. As for the clips, it doesn't have any at the corners, just the four same ones that the oem used. Here's a pic so you can see for yourself.
NO! It is not an authentic Mugen grille.
Sorry man its fake. We could have told you that if you put the link up here before you bought it.
Yea like everyone else has said, its a fake. It's missing the Mugen sticker on the backside.
You should buy some kind of clip and super glue it or fibergalss bondo that thing it probably your best bet or even take it a to a body shop, they know what to do.
ebay is a buyers beware market.. this was mine at one point, i sold to a friend sometime ago and gave him advice to sell it there cause you dont have to list is authentic or replica, somebody would buy it. he told me the buyer came here to see if it was legit.. just saw your post and figured i put my .02.. buyers beware..
you can tell its fake by the material its made from
