I will update this real quick:

I left Sunday evening, 6:20pm, and drove to Topeka, Kansas. I made 2 pit-stops at a rest area and made it to Kansas at 6:30am Monday morning. I saw 3 EPs, one was in Kentucky, I believe, the other was at the Ramada Inn in downtown Topeka (near the State Capital), and the last one was on FairLawn Road between 10th and 8th or something like that.

Sorry Bruce, I tried getting the "Welcome Signs" pictures, but I messed up the KY one because it did not take and the Missouri one because it was right after the Ohio Bridge. However, I got Kansas and Denver for you!

I got to Denver today around 6:22 and will be here for a week or so.

keep up with your total gallons, total miles, and total paid for the trip. when I went to el paso and back in 3 days, I was astonished at the numbers. I saw 13k, 14k and 15k in the same weekend.

yeah, i am keeping all of the receipts from the gas/room/food places.

80,000+ miles and still have more to go.

as far as going crazy with the tape - i thought about doing that, but i wanted to make sure that i had enough for the bumper/hood/mirrors before putting something on there.

i am going to remove the tape before i leave for vegas and redo it.

i am leaving Denver on Saturday (6th) and i forgot how long of a drive it is (10?) to the Golden Nugget. i just have to check in and then i can do whatever.

i get 50% off at Rainforest Cafe, or any Landry's restuarant, so if people want to eat there we can do that. if not, i still want to eat there. lol. i believe it is located in the MGM.

keep us posted on the fuel economy. with the engine spinning at such high rpms on the highway, i've always been curious on how the mileage is over long distance.

any mods to your car? how's your suspension?

The bad news is is that my speedometer reads high. If I am going 80, I am actually doing 70. I had the cruise control set at 80 (70) and was getting around 33-35 mpg with somewhere around 330-350 miles on 3/4 tank. That is without the correction of actual speed (70). So even with the correction, it is still pretty high considering the mods.

Mods - Greddy turbo kit, kpro, cams, tune. sway bar, springs, 15 inch rims.

i will walk around with the Garmin then. it is small enough to fit in your pocket. it is not one of those huge ones that you mount on your window.
