    Catch can

Ok, I probably sound like a complete noob but can anyone run me through on how to install an oil catch can?

On the front of your car, right by the alternator and idler pulley, you'll see a small line coming out of the intake manifold and going into what looks nothing more than a hunk of aluminium. Buy a catch can with some baffles in it that can actually trap oil vapors and run its two lines to those to fittings. Pretty simple, if it sounds confusing I can snap a pic of mine. There really is no need to route it to your valve cover like most people do, you want a catch can on your PCV line.

Thanks a lot for the info. A pic would be amazing if you can get me one. The main problem I'm having is finding somewhere to fit the thing in the engine compartment?

You will need to use a very small catch can. ost use the DIY catch can using a simple and cheap airline water filter/seperator and mounting it just behind the pass side headlight using two zipties to the rad support.

The catch can forces the oil vapors to recondense in the catchcan rather than in the intake manifold. It keeps the puddle of oil from forming in the mani.
