Even with that high of an offset, your gonna need to stretch, camber, defiantly roll to get them close to tucking. Thats pretty wide.
^this
has anyone gone that wide?..i know some members have gone with 9
my guess is cambers gonna be somewhere around 3

Dang! What's the cost of an 18x9.5 .vs a 17x9
Dang, that's gonna be expensive.

Use a wheel offset calculator:

I had 17x7.5+50 and on the rears it rubbed on the inside of the wheel well and rear suspension. Comparing those to the 9.5+40 they will stick 15mm further inside the wheel well so you're screwed. The outside fender clearance would be no problem.
U think u drive an s2k? Lol. But yeah, its going to run on the suspension.
Yay got them to fit..thanks for all who input now i just need to roll them fenders to get it slammed.
dang those are huge lol, make sure to post pics when your done! so you're just gonna roll the fenders? no added flares or anything?
i guess ill post up my progress on trying to get the rears fit so for future reference people can see what they need to do to get these to fit.
pics of test fitting the wheels to see what i need to do
looks like ima get some 15mm spacers a camber kit and roll/hammer out the fender.
Does it hit the rear trailing arm too? My 17's were all over the trailing arm at the bottom, but no rubbing on the suspension or gastank.
Do you have any pictures showing how much it pokes out?
Don't forget to load up the suspension a little too, (using a jack, etc.) to actually see where the wheel is going to be as if it were on the ground.
