for me I needed to probably rebuild my k20a3 anyway so cost effective was my reason....got a pretty good deal on the motor
    and only 12k on it.

Other than that no other reasons i guess.....in the end it would prob cost the same to build it up to a k20a2

This is my DD, I put about 30-40k a year on it.......hopefully for not to much longer then I can have some fun with it...

prob just swap to a k20a2

The milage on my A3 was getting high and I did not want to bother modding it, so I decide to swap in something that was inexpensive and had low miles. I bought my K24A8 for well under a thousand bucks and it only had 2K miles on it. With the mods I have I made 210WHP and 172 LB FT of Torque . Not the fastest thing around but it's pretty decent for daily driver.

Significantly more torque and down the road power potential? Besides, it's not like an EP swap is a terribly hard endeavor.

a DC5-S spec DCRH or KRRH should do the job. You might want to run an EM2 front sway bar for clearance.
