    no fourth gear....

    upon driving my car the other day i missed a shift and dint really think about it as a big deal....now my car will not engage into fourth 1-2-3- brick wall-5 it wont grind or even try just totally blocked out pleaseee help!

    bent shift fork? or maybe need a new clutch?

    could be a bent shift fork but the odds are slim. could b time for a new trans, mine was doing this right b4 it blew. when was the last time u changed your trans fluid?

    u have any aftermarket parts (ie intake)? i remember a member on here a while back didnt tighten his stuff enough and it basically fell apart on/in to his linkage and blocked 2nd and 4th or 1st, 3rd or 5th. its worth a look, easy to see. if its not that, then it does sound like bent fork or linkage...

    Good call with this. I had my stereo power wire disconnected for a while and it fell down just right to block the linkage from going into gear.

    yeah nothings fell off...... question are shift forks replacable?
