air filter? tire pressure? city driving does get the best of your gas mileage also.
Some people are flaunting they get 30mpg city with their ep3.
My 02 civic sir is lucky to get 20-23 mpg if I do city and thats with shifting at 3,000 rpm and I never go above.
The car only has like 90,000km on it and all scheduled maintance has been done to it.
I'm running Bosch iridium platinum fusion plugs.. should I ditch those?
If I don't find a solution soon I will sell my ep3 and never look back.. I can't afford to drive it at all with $4.00/gallon retarded canadian gas prices.

I've got a AEM v2 intake and tire pressure is a little higher than recommended.
change back to the oem plugs . . years ago a few poeple tried the Bosch plugs like you have and had similar problems. they usually went back to oem and were fine.
What would be some good OEM plugs for my car?
Spark plugs NGK: IZFR6K11 or DENSO: SKJ20DR-M11
I run about 50/50 city/hwy and get 10L/100km every tank.
What would you recommend? Denso or NGK?
Can't see how it'd make a noticeable MPG difference then the bosch IR fusion plugs.

stocks are NGK, i would stick with NGK's but you're right, don't think plugs will make much difference on MPG.
My math ain't wrong I use fuelly.com and check my stats in my signature.
I bought the EP thinking if/when I drove normally it'd give me good gas mileage.
What about your wheel tire set up? That can throw off the calculation a bit. 23-25 isn't bad in the city. I get 25 in town and 33 on the highway.
Drop your shifting to 2,200 to 2,700 rpm. You'll see an improvement. Check out ecomodder.com for more ideas.
