That looks like a nasty weld, non of my welds looked like that. You can see some in the pic and they look good. Looks like they are making a lower quality kit now. Did you get a flange with your HKS? I have the same BOV and got a flange with it. If you had the flange its a pretty easy fix but I know thats not the point, you asked for a different flange and didn't get it.

I would cut off the old flange but leave the little pipe of pipe sticking up. Then have it welded onto that, it will look better than the sides of the old flange hanging out. Also I would mark the extra piece sticking down inside and trim it to be flush with the inside of the pipe before you weld it on. Crazy the flange on mine is so different.

there sending me out another one, and on the intercooler do you get tabs put on the top of it to mount it to te steel bumper? if so how big were tey? my step dad works at a steel place so im gunna get them to weld on a coupe things of aluminum if i have to.

Thats to bad, this was mine when I got it and the flange you see isn't welded just a snap ring. Also in the pic you can see the box the Intercooler came in with foam to protect it, not just loose in the bottom of the box. Everything was in its own box inside the big box and wasn't opened by customs.

Only 1 ECU in the pic and the box it came in.

I wouldn't weld it, just use the bolt holes on the top and bottom to mount it. I just used some 1.25" w X 4" L aluminum that you can pick up in a 2 foot length at home depot. I used a vice to give it the little bend it needs. Then I just drilled 2 holes in the bumper and 1 underneath the rad support. It mounts up pretty easy.

i bought a kragen 3"x2.5" and it fits fine.

my problem now is i need a base map to run my k24a2 with the kit. it runs like shit with a modified jrsc basemap -_-

and i might be crazy but i think my shit spools at like 2k LOL

Can you post up your datalog you made with the JRSC tune? I just want to see what it looked like to see if I'm going to be able to work with it to make my street tune. Have you done any additional tuning since you first datalogged it?

If this damn down pipe fit better (too long and 2 bolt), this kit would be straight gold. that is the only problem i've had. and some ic mounting brackets...
