both engines look exactly the same and as long as there is no check engine light (CEL) and you have your cat no one will ever know

From the sounds of what I just read. You'll need a CARB legal shorty header(or oem) and OEM cat. No exceptions.
really? how long have you been living here? everyone and their mamas knows what getting their car bar'd means haha
do a little research it only take a few min and google is your friend. and you will need an oem cat. ca laws dont allow the use of aftermarket cats
