Seibon XT Carbon Fiber Hood fitting issue...

My seibon CF hood does not latch and close completely.
The fitment is almost perfect and all the screw holes line up and fit perfect.

Basically, it clicks to initial hook/lever, but it just won't completely go down and click.
The loop on the hood is about 1/4" shorter than the OEM, but besides that difference, the hood is almost OEM spec.

Does anyone have had similar fitment issue? If so, what did you do to make it close all the way?

    Thanks in advance.

You know the thing it latches to?
Not on the hood, but on the car?
It is held in by 3 (maybe 4) 10mm bolts
Undo those, and rebolt it in, but make sure you hold the hood latch mechanism up a tiny bit while re bolting it.
It will allow an adjustment of a few millimeters but that's all you need.

Thanks for the info! I kinda figured some adjustment was needed on the latch mechanism. I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks again!!!
