Thanks. It had to of been repainted before I got it do to the amount of Orange peel there is. Its ridiculous! Plus there is paint runs in a couple places as well. So whoever painted it did a HORRIBLE job. Hopefully the polish will clean it up a bit more then the wax can really set it off! Couple more hours. Ugh!

to sum it up, finally got around to detailing my car to TRY and remove all the orange peel and swirls. got all the swirls out but the majority of the orange peel is still there. one or two more cutting sessions prob would have cleared it up a little better but ill get to that again in a couple months. i used meguiars gold class carnauba plus and really wasnt satisfied with the result at ALL! after i cleaned the wax off it pretty much look the same as after i finished with the polish. i was hoping it would give it a deep wet shine but it was not what i was hoping for. i used nxt tech wax 2.0 the last time i used wax and the shine was unbelievable. it looked like my car was dripping wet! guess i will go back to the nxt next round. anyways, thanks for looking and commenting. im pretty sure i have one of the worst ep's on the forums:( with all the orange peel and paint damage(black around lower front bumper and rear bumper do to removing ugly as lip kit, and the damage on the front bumper from being hit by a shredded tire on the highway!)
but i still love this thing to death. haha

polishing pad was pretty happy. lol

Cleaning a car sucks, but the results make up for it.
Unfortunately, that orange peel looks to be on the base coat. At the very least youre looking at some aggressive color sanding with the possibility of re-clearing the panels.

Yeah, some of it looks pretty deep and not in the clear coat:'( but on other areas u can actually feel it on the surface its so bad. I may get around get around to some wet Sanding. I've had experience sanding on other cars I'm just nervous to do it on the ep cuz the clear coat doesn't look very thick:'( I just can't stand how bad it is cuz I know how good it SHOULD look.

The NXT tech wax is the best wax I've ever used. Been using it for about 4-5 years now. Will use it until they don't make it anymore. Highly recommend.

To get rid of orange peel, you must wet sand that area. Looking good tho!
