Shipping a motor from UK to US ?

whats up guys, i was looking around to try and find the most reasonable prices on K20a2 motors, i know Hmotorsonline has them for like 4,500$ but i found some k20a2's on Ebay.co.uk for around 1,800$- 2,000$ USD !! with roughly 50k miles, now that sounds like a deal to me! now the question i was curious about is has anyone ever got an engine shipped overseas? And how much would you think shipping would be roughly ? Also will the government give me problems ive heard of people getting like cars shipped and they never got it cause US customs, i know its not a car >.< just a question ! thank you to anyone that can clarify this for me !

This doesn't make any sense to me. 4500 for an a2? Has to be trans and ecu included for that price. If ur spending over 2k forget a a2 and get a k24a2 from papy for 2200. Or check ur junkyards.

thats where I found mine, I got it for about $300 cheaper since i bought it with no warranty.
