are repairing the seat or just want raw material for a project? last i checked you could buy the entire seat coverings from hondpartscheap.com or any other place like that,was not cheap though.
anybody know what the recaro material is call? And how much for a yard?
I tried researching here and there but only seen stuff from china, africa, etc.

Alcantara (or however it's spelled, Google can autocorrect for you) is the Recaro "suede" type. The other that is the perforated soft fabric is called Recaro "Jersey" material.

I did not know that recaro used "red suede." I always thought that they used "jersey" style material.
Thanks guys. So the red suede from corsport is $45/yard.
I might think about doing the seats when they're worn out. Don't feel like buying new seats. Never know though. Might just get some replicas.
So it seems that the sides are suede and the middle section is the jersey style. At least for the older civic styles. I don't like the two tone look of black and red.
