    Thanks for doing it Az. And thanks for posting everything up here. Appreciate it. Sounds like Hondata, although it seems to be great now, will really pay off once they figure out a way to get mods to react productively with it.

    so basically you werent pushing it to the limits. hmmm i still get the feelin we'll see some 15.3's and maybe 15.2's out of this when some other folks have a crack at it at the tracks:)

    I would be scared about pushing it to the limits too. The reason I haven't gotten the hondata yet is because the extra rpms make me nervous. I'm a college kid who can't afford a new engine.

    Thumbs up

    hitting mid 15's w/ just a 700rpm higher redline and 10+horses is pretty damn good considering the average 1/4 mile for the EP is high 15s...just wait for Hondata to figure things out better and you guys will be in the high 14's in no time =)

    Just do it =) Hondata is a very reliable company and as long as you dont mis-shift your engine will be fine...even if your not comfortable w/ shifting at the higher redline..just shift at the normal redline while enjoying that fact you have better midrange torque etc etc from the ecu....

    Do you honestly think that I could make myself shift at the 6800 redline when I know I can take up to 8k?:D

    60ft = 2.826 <-- the reason why it was such a bad run
    trap = 82.27

    now the picture is becoming clearer.

    if you shifted significantly below the new redline, then 15.6 makes a bit more sense.

    you'd be surprised at how much those extra few rpm help out.

    yeah, different tracks make a huge difference. traction out of the box, and down the stretch vary a lot from track to track.

    elevation is also a killer, although at 1500ft, you're not too high up.

    15.3 in stock trim at a slow track would satisfy me.

    that would translate into 15 flat at a fast track (closer to sea level, good traction)

    also, wind makes a huge difference. . ..

    i guess those are ok times. im not the best drag racer so if i were to run a 15.5 i would be pretty happy. Anyways what will we be running with i/h/e/hondata heatshield/and chip? think a high 14 would be realistic or am i smoking to much crack?
