for those ep lovers going for boost and want a little bit lower comp ratio JE pistons offers a 9.0:1 setup for the rsx-s. the bore and stroke are the same as the si. [displacement] (although some milling will probably be required anyway) i'm pretty sure we could use the same application pistons as the rsx-s be it higher or lower compression.
what are the gear heads' thoughts on this? :)

sounds good to me. That would be a safe compression for boost.
Oh and I can't imagine who in their right mind would put low compression pistons in an engine that doesn't have a turbo Some people are just plain...well...stupid

The pistons should be a direct swap.
i wasnt sure about the milling....i figured that since they are aftermarket they wont be 100% the same. To be honest i don't even know. I'm still trying to learn more on the issue. :)

The K20a blocks all have the same piston dimensions, the rods are all the same length, and the cranks are practically identical. The type-s does have beefier rods, but the rod thickness @ the wrist pin should be the same between the type-s rods and the ep3 rods. And if it's not, you could always just get the type-s rods. Hell, if you're dropping the compression with new pistons, you'd probably wanna go ahead and get forged rods while it's all taken apart anyhow.
