custom midpipe material?? aluminized steel or stainless steel?

hi...i'm a newbie and looking for a custom mandrel midpipe for my car. do a little search and find most ppl talking about aluminized steel and stainless steel. which one is better? light weigth and last longer?

stainless is better, lasts alot longer

ok...i think i will end up with the aluminized steel piping.

the reason is... i do some search on yahoo and most exhaust system(for euro brand auto) use the aluminized steel instead of SS and one more interesting thing..... a few european performance company recommand not to modify the midpipe for those BMW/VW/MB. i dont know y but for sure that wont be the case for Honda/Acura

some ppl mention the rust problem but i wont keep the car for life and this wont be a big deal to me.
