Alpine CDA-9807 / Wiring harness question:
The wiring for the Alpine CDA-9807 has 1 ORANGE wire for illumination.
The Metra 70-1721 wiring harness has 1 ORANGE wire for illumination and 1 ORANGE/WHITE wire for dimmer.
If I hook up the deck's ORANGE wire to the harness's ORANGE/WHITE wire, will the deck respond to the dash dimmer like the stock deck?
Or am I just being a dough-head?
