I knew I needed some new pads when I started hearing them squeak but didn't know my rotors had scars in them. :shockm:
I guess its expected with how hard I drive my car.:smilem:

You can also see the scraps on the tire sidewalls from how badly they roll over in some turns. :sadm:
I'm thinking of just resurfacing my rotors and picking up some Axxis pads but I'm still undecided.

Nice gouges! Almost looks like you had a piece of foreign material stuck in the pad. Here's a pic of my brembo rotors w/ Axxis pads after some hard laps at Gingerman Raceway. Sorry for the blur, it was getting dark, and the shutter stayed open too long.

SWEET! But man, suk, those gouges look pretty nasty! As for the sidewall scars, i have em too... My girlfriends dad saw am and he was like "You have been cornering hard" I quickly changed the subject...
I know, I'm pretty hard on my brakes :sadm:
I hit up Little Tujunga Canyon a few times during the week and 2-3 times a day fri-sun so I guess its just expected.:smilem:

holy shit! crazy scar in you rotor and damn... DynaSpeed, that rotor is on fire! :D
dood those are not scars...you now have DIY slotted rotors![]()
Dyna Speed,
It's cool that you got some time out at Gingerman, but in the future you might want to take a cool down lap or two. Hot rotors that aren't moving will cause seriously uneven distribution of pad material and could result in a pulsing pedal and/or poor brake performance.
