Did you make DIY by chance?
post some pics:D
Spent damnnear an hour and half messing with those tiny little wires, finally got it all hooked up, reconnected the battery, turned on the car...nothing DAMMIT....oops I forgot to reconnect the wiring harness:D Turned off the car, connected the harness, restarted the car, and was greeted with that beautiful Apex'i opening screen
Yeah yeah this thread is worthless without pictures, but the digital camera is at my brother's so I'll have some photos up this weekend. Anyway, talk about a sense of accomplishment--this was my first mod and first DIY, so I'm pretty proud of myself (not to mention I saved the 150 buck that the shop wanted to charge me for the install), not bad for a 17 yr old huh? Hopefully this'll take away what little status of newbie I have remaining;)
p.s. Thanks to Atriot for the wiring diagrams.
REVIEW:
performance-doesnt aid performance at all as I'm sure most of you know, its basically just a really cool toy
price-the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys $215 shipped
level of difficulty-eh, wasnt too hard, just time consuming and killer on the knees and back, my knees were outside on the concrete and i was hunched over in the car for an hour and half

talk about a quick reply
thats a negative on the DIY (if you mean did i get pictures) but I dont mind writing one up if you need it
I'll have pictures up this weekend I promise;)
Good Job! Im glad it went well.
My roomate wanted to see the RSM in action so I took my car out for the first time with it installed. I had it set on 1 channel monitor in the digital RPM mode (where it shows the rpm in HUGE numbers)--I'd already preset the rpm warning at 3500 rpm--my normal shift point--not knowing what to expect...I get it up to 3500 and WOW talk about a light show. It starts flashing like police lights, my roomate went nuts I still cant get over that sweet opening screen, I love this thing.
Post some pictures. I am interested to see how you mounted.
