I have the yellow one. Its a nice way to do comparative runs before and after you make mods.
seems kinda cheezy but its still kinda cool.

Anyone have experience with this kind of thing? feedback? opinions? flames?

same thing as the gtech, i liked it at first but it is horribly innacurate...
the only thing i liked was the shift light.
I have one, it's pretty neat, but I don't really end up using it very much. I don't know how accurate it is. If you're interested in deltas, it actually doesn't matter how accurate it is, it only matters that it reports consistent results.
Yeah, nothing beats the lasers of a drag track, but you can definitely use this thing to see how much your time has increased from run to run.
For instance, you can put the stock wheels on, and do a 60-0 stopping test, then put your fancy wheels on with better tires and see how much they improve your stopping times.
Another example. You can find a deserted stretch of road in the middle of nowhere, and spend some time launching your car doing 1/8th mile runs (or 1/4 mile if you have the room and are willing to speed)
Another example, your buddy buys a cold air intake, and you want to see if its any faster than your car that's otherwise identical.
So for making comparisons, its a good thing.
says it measures horsepower too...now how do is it do that??? its like having a portable dyno :D
It tries to extrapolate HP from accelleration and the weight of your vehicle (which you enter). I don't think it does a very good job of it. It's not something that you could use to replace a dyno, even if it was accurate.
