So is that all the B-pipe is? Does it replace the cat or anything or is it just the midpipe? I mean somethings gotta make it worth them oney right? Someone wouldn't try selling stuff way more than what it's worth would they?
The B-Pipe is the pipe that goes in between the Cat and the Axle back Muffler.
It bolts up to your cat (or test pipe). It is midpipe with resonator, that goes between the cat and the stock muffler or whichever axle back you have.Does it replace the cat or anything or is it just the midpipe
Look at the sexy bends on this thing!

I don't know how A&J came up with the pricing, but when you consider
the quality of construction and materials, the size of the production run and the fact that they come from Japan.I agree it is expensive, but doesn't seem too unreasonable to me.

It's actually designed for the Spoon Axle back for the USDM since Spoon Sports isn't gonna make on e for the Northamerican market.
So anotherwords if you already have the N1 Axle back this will turn in into a full cat back. So either way same shit 03EP3Si. Just depends on what you like.
Want one real soon !!!
Consider it the ultimate b-pipe for our cars. Spoon quality. Should improve flow without sacrificing low end torque. Can't wait for the dyno report. If I remember correctly, the non-stainless, stock HONDA b-pipe is like $270.
BTW, how loud is the Spoon N1 with silencer installed? Would it be tolerable for non-sporting driving (back and forth to work, long trips, etc).
I'm not holding my breath on this one. Sometimes money is better spent elsewhere. Mandrel bent spoon and shinny coatings don't mean shit on the dyno. Wonder the size of the resonator ID? Best bling it where it can be seen at least. Just my .02 cents.
Hahahaha Hey man if you could find me one of those Type-S HEAD, I'll be really happy without another mod. You almost done installing? Those Friggin Type-S Heads are hard to track down in the yards... where did you get yours again?
And for the T1R pipe I like it cus it completes the Spoon exhasut to a full cat-back. SHouldn't cost to much.
And about the N1. it's not to loud in our car with silencer.
P.S. SHawn I'll let you know Might head to speedstar tomorrow pending if there open.;)

HOLY FUCK just listenin to the vid clips.... "DROOOOL"
So how much was grand total?
Valid points. Will have to wait and see what the numbers tell.I'm not holding my breath on this one. Sometimes money is better spent elsewhere. At this point I feel I must get rid of the tiny stock midpipe, and this is the best option for me.
A&J is closed till Jan. 12 so I can't get any more info at the moment, but I will try and get the inner diameter of the resonator. I looked down the end of it and appeared to be same diam. straight through, with no step down in size.
Although this pipe looks great, looks is the last reason for me wanting it.
