    "Maint Req'd" Light self-reset

What's up guys, I do my own work on my EP3 and I remember seeing a thread on how to turn off the "Maint Req'd" light on your own, something to do with the odometer stalk; sorry if this is a repost but I searched a few of the forums and couldn't find any info on it. If anyone could let me know it would be massively appreciated, thanks!

Press it down while you turn on the car.

Press & hold on the meter reset thing, start the engine. Hold the meter thingy for like 10 sec when the engine has started, then release. I'm not sure on the amount of time, but 10 sec should work. Give it a try.

I'm pretty sure the exact instructions are in that wonderful but yet little read tome called "2002-2003 Owners Manual":D

I tried looking for it in my manual but to no avail. But I remember finding it in my sister's RSX manual... go figure

But the correct procedure is to turn the key to the Second position and hold the right knob down on the instrument cluster. Hold that button down and start the car and keep holding for 10 secs.

Page 62 I think in the manual.

    1. turn car off
    2. hold trip reset knob down
    3. turn car on while holding down reset for 10 seconds
    4. all done.
