I still don't think they will fit perfectly.
Hey EP3 owners,
I was wondering if it's at all possible to fit a STOCK Si CD player into a coupe/sedan? I am sure you guys would be the best to ask. I am tired of my aftermarket one really. I have a silver '02 civic sedan and I figure it would be a sexy and simple match. If anyone knows, please gimme a hand here. Thanks in advance.

We can test fit if you like.
Stock head unit sucks!
I just want to know if anyone's done it.
I have not heard of anyone trying yet... that's all.
Anyone? :(
Nobody tried it from 7thgencivic.Originally posted by A R

Its kinda pointless to do it , basically same headunit but in different color.
Plug is identical, pick up stock si headunit off ebay for less than $100 if you really want to try it.
It wont fit, different aftermarket mounting bracket between the two cars.Originally posted by Civicvtec1ps

I have tried it. I had a 2003 DX Coupe and put an Si cd player in it. It fits in there and the wiring harness is the same. But, as stated before, it will not fit perfectly. There will be a very slight gap in the picture shown below.
Question: Will the 6-cd changer fit in the si? Cuz i hate the trunk/magazine type cd-changers and this would be a great alternative.
