235 is awfully wide! You might want to think about 205/210 at the most.
Other than that, you should be good to go!
Make sure to post pics once you put dem wheels on! (i hope your 4x4 is dropped if your puttin' 17"'s on...)

thats pretty wide, if i were you i would go with a 205. still a good width. what wheels?
Stick with 215 or under.
235 is just overkill, and will likely cause rubbing and clearance problems.
I got 215s on mine, and they look great! Definately would not want them any wider!
235/45/17 rubbed on my pickup truck! Thats a fairly large tire.
ok so i guess a 210 or 205 it is.....thanks guys!
225 at very most. but imo i wouldnt go bigger than 215
205 or 215 is the widest. there's no such thing as a 210 tire.
So a 215 with a 1.5 or 2 inch drop wont rub? or should i just go with a 205...sorry i dont know much about tire sizes and shit like that...But i plan on gettin either some tein springs or eihbach in a few weeks....and i need rims also..so yea...who has 215's? and no problems with a drop?
You guys are so off. 235/40/17's run great. I've had them on for about 6 months. I also ran 225's for near a year before I put the 235's on. No problems with the prokit drop.:D
Sweet. What profile tire did you have for the 225's? Anyways, if it were me I would stick the widest size tire on as possible. Keep in mind though that the pro-kit is only a 1" drop. If you plan on lowering your car any more than that I would go for 215-225 for safe measure. 205's for a 17" tire is pretty small I think. I have a 45mm offset with 16's. When I bought the wheels I was told 45mm is what the stock wheels are although that may be wrong. You should be fine with 40-45mm though. You guys are so off. 235/40/17's run great. 225/45/17 is best for me.
I'm running a 225/40/16 right now and they work perfect.
cool thanks guys so wat i gather..I can run 235/40/17's and 225's and ill be good..cool beans..i prob get tein s springs
