Lightbulb Do you think this would be a good set up?

    I am just starting to build up my Hatch and want to go N/A. I was just looking for some thoughts and assistance on my proposed set up. It is this;

    Jackson Racing Header
    A2 Head and computer
    Skunk2 cams
2 1/2" exhaust with high flow cat welded inline
    Aem pulleys
    Spoon Throttle body
    Type-R pistons and rings.

I know i am gonna lose a hell of a lot of torque, but i can live with it. Any opinions would be appreciated. What type of nubers do you think this setup would get?

    well
    stock 135+

a2 head would put u at around 155
jacson header would give ya round 170
    skunk 2 cams??? guessin a 180..??
    exhaust around 185
    pulleys 186
    spoon tb 188
    type r pistons/rings about 195....

add some dyno tuning(for the a2 head) and hondata =and you could be lookin at around 200-215 whp and 140 tq...

    pretty solid setup...

but for the money id do a2 swap and toda engine kit....

but its a good plan if you want to do little by little

you forgot the high compression gasket, and connecting rods, those are essential for higher revs!

I think thats close to what im getting havent decided yet. Looks good! I have a question. Why is our car rated at 160 hp but we only have 135 hp? what am i missing. I know its something simple but im too stupid to figure it out.

    The REAL set up*****

:angelm: If someone had money the best set up would be the A2 head which is 3 Cam lobes instead of 2 like the A3 Si motor. The A2 double valve springs are great also...which means it revs high and has great compresion, and along with the K20A2 head i would fit a K24A1 block fromt the CRV with its great trq and big ass stroke.
Some: DC ceramci headers,Greddy Evo2 exh, Hondata ecu,rsx 6spd trans, Type R pistons/rings and rods for high compression, aem cam gears, skunk camshaft...valve and valve springs and retainers, bore and stroke motor, microploish crank, bigger raiditor, smaller battery, tein spring and damps,17 in mugens on toyo proxes ,strip out inside ,take out weigt and ur set :winkm:
