I would highly recommend you have it fixed ASAP.If you don't it'll become a crack that evidently gets longer and longer.It's happened to every Civic I've owned and many I've seen.This is one of Honda's weak points besides the fish tank tail lites.At least they've fixed the rusting muffler prob.!

off the subject, but i've heard that hondas have problematic a/c's? such as not lasting very long. is there truth to this myth?

No A/C probs.The best preventive measure for A/C is to use the A/C for at least 5 minutes/month.This moves the lubes in the freon around to lube the seals.

My insurance covered the rock chip that i had in my windsheild. Try contacting them to see whats up and what they can do for you.

Yea, insurance companies cover that kinda crap. Get it fixed before the crack gets bigger and eventually shatters your windshield.
