Its got the ERL Superdeck 1 system on it. That consists of Darton Sleeves and something similar too, but IMHO better than a block guard. Look Here for more details on it.
sounds awsome, is the block sleeved? or does it have a block guard, i can't really tell from the picture.

Good to hear she fired up. Cant wait to see what she does on the dyno....

i love the pic of the block where the light is shining directly on it.
and on the 8th day, God created the K-Series engine. He liked it and it was good.
She's really alive now. Being run through a 20 minute initial start up. No leaks so far and she's purring like a kitten.
All thats left now is to corner weight her, align her and tune her. Then its off to the races
Great Build But You should of went 11:5:1 compression w/ your supercharger....you would see a lot of trq...and power up top...
I was originally going to go 11.0:1, but the pistons just weren't going to be available in the time frame I had. I could have gotten the 11.5:1 but I just wasn't comfortable running that high a compression with the uncooled blower. I've got too much invested in this motor to risk it over that amount of difference.
Whale Fuck
Got over to the mechanics and took her out to just settle all the suspension components in (remember I added Buddy Club RSD's during this too) and there is some horrible grinding noise coming from the transmission under deceleration. There is no time to get the transmission dropped before Friday's dyno schedule so that is out, and that means that my track weekend for May 16, 17, and 18 is off too. Fuck.
any idea what the trans noise is?
