Do you think aluminum polish can take out scratches from headlights too? I tried the toothpaste thing and they ended up with even more scratches. Toothpaste ftl. But for teeth, ftw!
Alright so my headlights were fogged and yellowing fairly badly and I know some of you guys have this problem too.... so today while washing and waxing the ep I thought I'd try something.... my pops had some Mothers brand mac and aluminum wheel cleaner/polish stuff (will check tomorrow for exact name of product) in the shop so I gave it a try. I was actually pretty suprised by how well it worked, almost all yellowing and fog is gone, they also look brighter while driving at night. I'm pretty sure is due to the fact that the polish contains some gritty substince in it. Anyway something you guys might want to try before you go out and buy new ones. If you want pics let me know

i think it was the grit and polish combo that did it, since it was for wheels maybe it was something special that doesn't scratch....
Tooth paste worked great for me, but your best bet is wet sanding. Better than any paste.
what's it called exactly that thing you used Zeth
im pretty sure it was this stuff here http://store.mothers.com/product_inf...products_id=48
i'll check tomorrow and if its different i'll post up
get some pixs of your head lights...
just wetsand through the clearcoat on the headlights, thats whats yellowing...then get a good clay pollisher, then keep wax on them...
my ep is white...
