i dont know if the tsx head flows the same but i doubt it would acctualy be that different. im going to use the tsx block and head just because i got it on the cheap (600bux) what are you actualy planning with this engine? boost or n/a? if your going boost on the stock engine a1 is the best bet, but if your going to build a block id go with the cheaper a4.
the complete dream is to have a k24 bottom end with a head of sorts i was figuring the tsx because it will match the lower compression pistons that i would be using and in the future i'd be adding a jackson supercharger
The tsx head does not flow as good as the a1 or a2 head but it does have much better camshafts for a low rev tq monster. It doesn't have a full cam angle like the a2 head though...this can be modified so you can get a 45 degree angle with a little machining work.
