This is true... stock evo's are soo slow. My boy has a SRT-4 and he merks on them all day. He only has open downpipe and front mount

i find that hard to believe....i was able to keep up with a fairly stock srt-4 with my JRSC r kit. i think he only had a car on me we did a 2nd gear pull and shut it down when we were close to the end of 4th. that car was def not able to beat an evo

its not hard to believe. i talked to royvegaspinoy online one time. he was supercharged on the a3 back then he went from 25-120 with an sti. he told me the sti got a car lenth right away but stayed that way till 120.

good luck with that racing a 1000cc or higher..... a 600 maybe, an open class supersport though..... they'd REALLY have to not know how to ride or just not care. I mean they are electronically limited at 186mph

most bikes around here are 600-750s i dont really pay much attention to what they are as most of my runs are chance encounters.

an R-1 kill would be very impressive, a busa or zx10r kill would = reverance, R1's lack power compared to the other openclassers, a busa or ninja14 has sometimes less peak than a zx1r or a gsxr1000 BUT they have gobs and gobs of torque and a really fat powerband, even compared to literbikes.
in a recent "fastest of the fast" style mag article the zx10r pulled 0-180 in abut 17 seconds, which makes it the cheepest fastest thing you can find.

it may be a false sense but its a sense and surprisingly this car feel very stable at 180 (it was only for a few seconds but felt very stable)

like 55 stability



but when i race i really only go as fast as is needed to acheive victory

a bike at speed wants to stay upright, gyrotational inertia from the wheels and tires and crankshaft, plus those bikes are designed specifically to go that speed, unlike the EP which is not, its a nice feature that with the right suspension it CAN be, but it was never designed for it.
