Called Honda Co. about my fourth gear going out..

I went to the dealership and tried to get them to fix my synchros.. they said the alert was just for the 06-08 Si's and that they could not help me and I would either have to buy all the parts+labor or buy a used tranny+labor on my expense and quite frankly i cant afford it. i told the woman about this site and how so many people were having problems with their synchros... she suggested to get VIN numbers from everyone that has had honda fix their synchros (with no warrenty) free of charge, call honda co. and give the VINs to them as backup. so if there is anyone that has complained to honda and got their trannys fixed please give your name and VIN so I can get all these people to back me up. I'm going about to begin college and have no money at all and the car gets harder and harder to drive everyday. thanks

several people have had problems with the tranny, mostly with grear grinds but as far as i know Honda never gave a shit
