Alot of cops are car guys.
All depends on the cop. I've had my share of both sides of the spectrum. I've had cops tell me to get on it (in my Trans Am), and I've had cops read me the riot act for not signaling correctly (in my 200sx). For me, if I see a trainee or a ride along with the cop when I'm getting pulled I know I'm going to be a while.
Luckily I haven't gotten pulled over in a LONG time. (knock on wood)
Nope, it was a mckinney cop. But about a month ago i got pulled over by a plano cop for "no front license plate" and he let me go because he said "i had a nice car and he understood that i wouldn't want to drill holes in my front bumper to put the plate there" so he let me go and said "ill let you off on a warning but just be safe because other cops will give you a ticket for that". Hahah i guess i just have good luck sometimes.
Hahah are you serious lol haha. Was this in the evo?
Cool story, that has never happened to me before.
Cops are just like us. There are the grouchy ones and the really laid back ones. Make sure you stay off that highway.
I think as a younger generation of cops start taking to the streets, there will be more who grew up with an import, or know someone who has, or even has one. Good news for us :)
that story is fucking cool, i hope we could have cops like that here.
Maybe I got lucky one day, i was on the highway driving in the traffic (bumper to bumper), and next to me was an undercover in his Charger, and he said ''hi'', so i turn my volume down and replied back. He said ''do you know i could arrest for your tinted window'', then i replied, ''they are suppose to be legal, because i asked for'' and then he said ''i could also arrest you for your muffler'', i said ''i know, i have to fix it'', then he said ''alright so have a good day'' and he passed me so i was behind him. I followed him until he got out of the highway, but not me
