sorry, but i don't like that at all
Got this done tonight. It took about 2hrs from start to finish, which includes removing and re-installing the bumper.
Pics of the product as requested. (Comes in a plastic bag for $14.99 or so CDN)

First, remove the bumper. There are DIY's around on how to do that. 5 minute job.
Once you have the bumper off, find a good location to work on it. Get some tape and use it to mask off the place you want to install the trim. This will give you a line to work along when you are installing the double sided tape.
Once the double sided tape is installed, begin installing the trim. Align the crease of the trim with the edge of the double sided tape. You can achieve a pretty nice line if you are careful.
I did something a bit different than most other installs I have seen. Instead of using screws to give the lip extra hold, I used black zip ties. I drilled holes along the bottom of the trim through the bumper and ran the zip ties through. They snug up great and seem to cover more area than screws.
Here's a pic of the finished product.
Here's a pic on the car. I'll get some more when it's not dark out.
Lip in action!

looks good. makes me lol when ppl say it looks cheap!
Haha, of course it looks cheap. It's a trim peice from home depot. I like it. It is actualy functioal. I scrape that part of my bumper alot and this would probly help out. Good write up but like he said earlier, what was the brand/part number of that trim peice you got?
^^^
Added pics of the lip material plus a link to the web site with part number. I also put a pic from today's autocross where you can see the lip in action, although it's a bit far away and obscured by cones. I will add another once I get time to get a pic.
hahaha it loooks alriteee
This is going to be one of those mods that is hard to capture in a pic or two. If you see it in person, I bet it looks better than in the pics.
I like it. It looks nice, its cheap, creative, and anybody can do it. Two thumbs up from me.
I bet this would look amazing on a HFP front lip.....
