How much are hardtops on S2K's? I'm looking at about $1,200 for a used one, and the new ones unpainted are $2,200.

the oem tops are are around the same price as what you have listed.. but they're painted..

I was in your boat 4 months ago, my EP kept destroying axles. I think mine turned out to be a bad drive-side motor mount. Gave up on the EP and traded it in for an used 2005 Volvo S40 T5 AWD. Insurance dropped by about $100 for 6 months. They are built on the same chasis as the Mazda3 and has the turbocharged 5.

If i ever have another chance to get a new car again, it would be this in white.

It looks pretty sweet, got 240 odd HP, and gets pretty good mileage. Its nicer inside than a WRX and its more sophisticated. Since im 24, im looking for more family oriented cars, but still have alittle kick to them. Oh yeah and only Japanese cars, no shitty VW's

Excelent choice. I am not going to push anyone away from another car towards a Legacy, but I love mine. There is one area where Subaru, and Refinemtnet dont meet though. Thats interior panels, and seats. Dont get me wrong the car is comfortable, and the interior is far superior to any honda I have owned, and any WRX I have been in. However the seats creak a little with movement, and the dash panels/door panels have a tendency to vibrate a little. It doesn't bother me too much becuase I just turn the music up, but it is the only negative I would point out from a fit/finish perspective.

FYI I get an average of 24 mpg, and I have to run premium. So know what you can afford, and enjoy your purchase.
