I'm wondering if you guys can help me to decide
I'm selling my car right now, its
02 ep3, 190km but it has grind in 3rd gear and I'm selling it for $5000CAD
I was planning to put k24a2 complete swap with 6spd transmission for $3600 (including labour)
If ever I'm gonna sell it again, what is the fair price to sell it? Thanks!

depends highly on the condition of your car... having 190km is alot on the body, but if you took well care of it and depending on the milege of the engine you put in there the price gets at most a 500$ boost ...lets say you put in a estimated 100km k24a2... dont know much about CAD $$$(a little higher than us) but in US $$$ the car as of now with 3rd gear grind would sell for $4500 and $6500 or less with motor swap.... its hard to sell a car that is swapped due to people wondering why you did it... to beat it up or to fix a problem... best of selling it stock... imo... i would buy a stock car over a 190km swap...
190,000km isn't a lot to me. thats what 120,000 or so. perfect time to swap the a3 out.

When you start modifying your car you really begin to narrow down the potential buying market. You won't get nearly as much out of it as you put in it. At most 1000 dollars but most likely 500 (american). My car for instance is gutted and has a k24a4 with nitrous and is in bad body shape. Its a project car in other words and only people who want a project car would buy it. Thats why I am only going to get $3000 at best.
