    Stain Problem

This shit on my headlight is pissing me off lol. I'd try every chemical in the house to get rid of this and it's just not working. I even had to sacrifice a toothbrush to clean it. No luck.

I thought it was bird poop so I just tried washing it with water but it didn't work. The only thing that works is when I scratch it with my nails, but I don't want to go too far with that. Anyways here are pics and suggestions are welcome.

if scratching it with your nail works try using a rubbing compound.

Well before I do that, I still wanted to know what caused this. I just noticed this today.

I got a full synthetic oil change at my favored shop (they know me well) this morning. Would a chemical spill might have caused this? The stain doesn't look like a poop splatter but rather looks more like a little drip that landed on my headlights, unfortunately.

i think a chemical stain would ech the platic of the housing and not just sit on the surface. i think they spilled something that has hardened on the headlight

Yah I even tried the scotch brite. Then I used a tissue paper, it feels smooth now but the stain is still there. I'm guessing it damaged the headlight pretty deep.

I should make the shop do it. It might have been their fault.

I'm good friends with the shop. They've hooked me up plenty of times.

Anyways, Turtle wax rubbing compound good enough?

Yah it's a family owned business and it has grew and expanded since the last 2-3 years that I have known them. I'll see if autozone sells meguair's rubbing compound or anything. They sell some mother's and meguair's in our autozone here. Hopefully though that they'll just do it for me.
