Have you taken them apart or replaced the bulbs recently? Perhaps the bulbs aren't setting in the housing correctly, thus not shining straight out of the front?
Well, I'm 2 for 2 on less than happy introductory threads so for
The lights on my ep3 are lackluster at best. In the pictures below, you can see what they look like from head on, and what they look like upon a brick wall 4 feet away. The car is missing the front bumper lights, could this be part of the issue?
1) Picture of the lights head on
2) Effect they have upon a brick wall 4 feet away (none)
3) the effect of highbeams on the brick wall, same distance.
can anyone help tell me what's going on?
thanks guys, and once again forgive my ignorance on the subject, I'm the epitome of a car noob.

Uh, is it just me, or does it look like nothing is on but the parking lights in that first pic?
Or is that the problem we're dealing with? If so, new bulbs, as you may have lost the low beam filaments. I had to change bulbs pretty regularly w/my `02/`03 headlights, low beam was always burning out in one or the other.
I replied to your PM Bryan.
Made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
Hi guys,
I'm not sure if I have the same problem as you but I will describe it here. All my lights seem to be working fine EXCEPT for low beams. DRL's are good, high beams are good. Yet when i turn the switch twice for low beams, the light does NOT come on! I went to a shop already to check it out and they can't seem to find the problem. The bulb is good because the high beams are working fine. Is it something to do with the circuit or voltages? Btw, everything is stock... Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated because I can't drive at night now because I will either be killing others on the road with highbeams or driving with DRLs...
TIA!

your highs will still work with your h4 bulb even if your dims are burnt out. your highs and lows work off of two different filaments. so if your dim burns out, your bright filament will still work.
ive had that problem a couple months ago..only the hi beams would work for my driver side (happened on my way home from school at nite)..i get home and the bulb popped.
replaced the bulbs and havent had the problem since but id still like to know what it could be just in case it returns

the problem is that your low beam filaments have burnt out, replace your bulbs and you should be good
