tried it.... didn't work, even let it set for 10 mins then started working it an didn't work....
have you tried a high grit wet sand? that may work as long as the oxidation hasnt pitted the wheels
my ep is white...
- We can talk numbers all you want, but the bullshit stops when the flag drops...
Take em to get professionally sand blasted. And powder coated any color u want. New decals and they will be like brand new. Gotta guy here locally does wheels for 40 bux each that's sandblasted and powder coated pretty much any color u want.
ya there is a company here that wants to strip and powder coat for 80 bux a wheel... i only have 900 in them so even after that i would only have like 1150 in them... which still is not bad for a set of volks that would be brand new almost....
thanks guys for all your help i might try that high grit sand paper tomorrow after work... what's the worst that could happen... have to get them powder coated..
going to try the wet sanding this weekend then if no go on that then i will have them powder coated....
oh ya i live in ga we don't have a winter here haha no snow a little ice and maybe 10 days below freezing...
try leaving the aircraft stripper on longer and leave it in the sun.
Be careful that will start to eat through the metal
it shouldnt eat your metal away, but if you dont feel safe doing it. i do it all the time never had a problem with the metal.
