Holy shit. I want to try this. Have you done this yet?

Video: Fixing Car Dents With Canned Air
BAM!!! Thank me later
Holy shit. I want to try this. Have you done this yet?
Don't do this there is to many horror stories about this crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've tried this
It only works on certain dents
it works on a dent that "can be popped out"
Doesn't work on anything that needs to be "molded" back into shape
yea i have heard some bad stories about this too
only works on large easy to pop out dents.
I had a feeling that it would only work on certain ones. Oh well. What are the horror stories you speak of?
damn im pretty tempted to try. i backed up into my trash bin and it left a golf ball size dent on the trunk right below the rear windshield. do you think that'll work on this dent?
Well first it will cause damage to the clear coat. It's not even Co2 it's a bunch of different chemicals mixed.
Here's the logic
There's not much "force" that this 'dry ice' technique uses.
So if you hit something
going 10 mph, in a 2500lbs car, some dry ice isn't going to fix it.
If you're going 40mph around a bend on GMR, and your back end swings into a side rail
That's roughly about 2500lbs, hitting a side rail at 40mph
That's not exactly going to pop out
that's body work
This technique usually works for like wide open areas
dents, not bends

WOW!... I really want to try this... but the clear coat thing is scary... LOL
Drop a basket ball on your fender and do this, it will work. this won't fix your "golf ball sized dent" works best on large dents, on body lines. Because it wants to pop back as it is, this method becomes a... "catalyst", if you will.
figure this, if the metal was actually bent, it was stretched into the size and shape of the dent. The resistance is lost in that situation, so there is no stored force to be released by using this method.
