    Yank every bit of carpet out and get the water/muck out. I do not think that is enough to total the ride though, I have seen many far worse off and the insurance co simply paid for new carpet.

    Good news! The EP will drive again! Only estimated at 1100 worth of damage. Looks like I'll be getting her back Wednesday of next week! Woohoo!!!

    Told ya they wouldnt total it.

    BUT, I wouldnt trust any shop to be able to keep the car from having future issues, they most assuredly will not go that extra step to prevent it.

    I went through THEIR shop (so the repairs should be good for life), and I told them if it has issues down the line like premature rust because of this incident they will be hearing from me.
