    My Injen CAI has arrived.

Inside the doorway when I got home...

    Box Contents

Looks like they changed the logo to a metal overlay... I personally like this smaller one better than the humungo one I've seen in other pics.

Has anyone else gotten stickers with theirs?

I'm installing it this weekend... I'm going to take some good pics of the install process, so I'll be sure to post them once I'm done.

Can you measure the diameter of the pipe? I'm trying to compare the Injen to the AEM, which is 2.5" od and 2 3/8" id. From the pictures I've seen, the Injen looks bigger. Here's the thread, http://ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=7805

I just got mine last Friday but unfortunately it snowed and I couldn't install it. I don't think I seen any stickers in mine. I feel robbed I think I'm gonna call them up and bitch....jk. Has anybody installed the Injen CAI and have any useful info on the installation? The directions they give you says take the front bumper off but another guy said you don't have to. I plan on taking on the mission this weekend so any info would be appreciated. Thanks

cpu519 - The intake pipe is 2.75" in diameter and the pipe is 1/16" thick, which would make the inner diameter 2 5/8".

trinispeed - Pretty much all the intakes scream. Its just because you get rid of all that baffle of the air box when its removed.

Si02 - You didn't get stickers with yours? Where are you located? Mine came from nopi's GA distributor, maybe thats why I got one of the ones that came with them. Does yours have the same logo as mine? I haven't seen another one yet with the metal overlay logo... Also, you DO NOT have to go as far as taking the entire bumper off. You will be able to pull back your wheel well trim to fit the filter in place.

I have off work this Friday, so thats going to be the big install day. This will be my first DIY mod... I already found someone who has a dremmel tool so I can sand down the hole the intake goes through. I know it might not be neccessary, but I'm not taking any chances of the intake vibrating against the body or rubbing against anything else.

I'll keep everyone updated.. thanks for the responses. :)

That'd be cool... do you have a good install spot? I live in an apartment with not much of a working area, so if not I was gonna head down to my 'rents house in Gap to do everything. If you'd wanna meet up with me down there we could do the install in the morning then cruise somewhere to grab lunch. My fiance gets off work in the afternoon and I wanted to have everything done by then.

If you want, IM me - s/n is r3p00c. Much easier to communicate that way. :)

Well I've got a friend here in Columbus who has the AEM and I have the Injen and mine sounds much better than the AEM.
