You should be aiming for 210 my friend!
Well about to install a Vtec Killed K24a1 Head (supertech valves/port/polish/s2k valvetrain/Z1 cams/Rdx injectors/PRC manifold/Kpro) Originally, dynoed at 155 with shorty hdr/intake/crushbent 2.25 exh/Reflash. Any thoughts on if 200 whp is possible during the tune...got all the parts cheap (classifieds are my friend) thoughts and opinions appreciated.
You should be aiming for 210 my friend!
You gonna stay with the shorty header? I would suggest a race header and a 2.5in exhuast to get that thing flowin. And I didnt know you had the head p&p'd, you should put up some good numbers.
Onasty made 199 on a a3 killer. U should crush those
@ Q yea...i still got the comptech shorty thought a megan test pipe...i will save up for the race header...i'm probably gonna need that 'smog' hook up when u get back LOL...thanks for the feedback fellas....i'm stoked to drive the damn thing.
well car is finally running...still need to tune some stuff out...@ a conservative 8k hit 187 on a dynapack...tuning still not done...but I'm really happy with the results. will post dyno plots when can...thanks for the input and advice fellas~!

yea no race header just comptech shorty and a shitty crushbent 2.25...any ideas on a good race header? I was thinking bcrh. THis is on the 148k stock a3 block...with a k24a1 head.

187 with a shorty pretty good you will break 200 easy with a race header. You can do one of the obx race headers, plm, dc's are ok, and mrrh those are all budget race headers.
Any news on that ssr header Wayne sells at speed star
i would just shoot for the plm header, they have em on Clubrsx.com
its the best header besides going custom IMO... in my case i'm sticking with my Spoon regardless of how many more ponies i can gain by doing the plm. The Spoon header gives such a mellow tone it makes the shittiest mufflers sound like gold!
