is a boost solenoid necessary?
I wouldn't run a wastegate spring of 10psi on a stock map sensor. reason being, if you over boost, k-pro and boost protection won't be helping you out. I would run a 7psi spring, tune and see if there is any creep whatsoever and then set your protection at like 9-10psi for safe measure.
My Tial wastegate came in yesterday, I had no idea they were that big. It has a 10psi spring installed now and I have thought about just picking up a smaller spring to get me started, but honestly, what's another 200 for a boost control solenoid and a map sensor, then I can run 11-13psi and be happy.
would one recommend a wideband o2 sensor too?
im gonna do neptune tunerview

A wideband gauge is nice to have so you can see whats going on in real time but its not necessary to tune or run the car. You can also get a boost solenoid and map sensor alot cheaper than $200, don't buy a Hondata solenoid just get a mac solenoid which is what hondata will send you with a hondata sticker on it. The mac solenoid sells on ebay for about $30. I wouldn't reccomend a 10 psi spring either, you are better off with the solenoid then you can set up your boost by gear so your not spinnin the tires off it in 1st,2nd,3rd.
Your stock o2 sensor is wideband, I believe all ep's have a wideband primary sensor and thats all you need to tune.
nice, i didn't know that. it was only just brought up to me. the less guages i have to look at the better.
also, would this work for a dumptube? i wouldn't think it would...

exhaust mani?
Exhaust manifold? The exhaust manifold fits perfectly, direct bolt on with no modifications.
The first dump tube looks more like the one I made but I'm not sure what the little elbow piece is for. I think the second one will work fine, I was going to use it but they wanted $50 to ship it to me in Canada.
