    Big Snap, Problem?

Well, something in the drivetrain broke on the EP tonight. I was taking off from a stop sign, and launched a little hard.. Tires chirped and as soon as it gripped the road, I heard a big snap. I figured it was my axle, but I haven't taken a look yet.

It won't go into any gear, the shifter will move freely through the shift pattern with the clutch disengaged while idling.

I don't have much tranny experience so hopefully someone can help me figure out what the problem is.

That sounds like a clutch or trans problem not your axle. If it was your axle you would still be able to shift gears with the clutch engaged while idling.

Yeah the clutch was my next guess. It's been through quite a bit, 106k since 02.

How does your clutch pedal feel? Totally normal?

Take off your intake and take a peak at your shifter cables. If you heard a snap, I guess somehow you snapped a shifter cable? That would be intense.
